How We Work
Two worlds, one person
An engineer builds the part you don’t see first — the foundation that has to hold, no matter what. Only after that comes what you actually notice: whether an app feels good. That’s how Smiljan works — AI builds along, but how it ends up feeling is his decision. He does it because building itself is what he enjoys, and because he wants something of his own to come out of it that lasts.

I build software I’d actually want to use myself: no tricks, no constant notifications, no attempts to steal your time. Most apps today are just optimized to hold onto you at any cost. Smilendo stands for the opposite: apps that solve a problem, look really good, and then just leave you alone.
